Why did you brake at all those green lights?
So we were all headed for the green light. I was trapped behind you and you loved it. You braked at the green light. You braked at all of them.
Is it because you really believe that you can avoid an accident, or because you don’t have anywhere to be anytime soon and you want to make me wait at every red light, which we did, and every red light was a good two minutes. Thank goodness my air conditioning’s broken in the dead of summer!
Do you realize that braking 10 meters before the green light doesn’t actually give you the visibility to avoid a speeding maniac? Do you realize that braking IN the intersection increases your chases of getting hit? Do you realize that you’re a paranoid ditz?
Do you have to brake before every light in a vain attempt to remember what green and red mean?

lol, ok that was fun. but i know what you mean, some people have no real sense of what they’re doing on the road and how it affects others.

If you are too close, stepping on the brake is just a precautionary measure, to make sure you follow the 2 second rule behind. However at an intersection, stepping on the brake is quite normal, because that the driver is not sure how long the green light have been on and it could change anytime soon.
